Hello friends, I am Sophia Gonzalez. I recently completed Henry Harvin’s TEFL course and was asked by so many friends about my experience with the institute and the course it offers.


I was working as a Design Thinking Specialist at Finastra, Florida but my love for teaching pushed me to quit my job and pursue the wonderful world of TEFL. Being entirely new to the field with no information about it, I decided to do my research as extensive and wide-ranging as possible.


I discovered that English teachers were profusely in demand all over the world and all I needed to jump into TEFL was training and a TEFL certificate to authenticate the training. I looked for institutes providing the course, read hundreds of reviews, and compared prices and curriculum.


Though I haven’t heard of Henry Harvin before, I still decided to send in a query. At once, their counselor, Lisa established conservation with me through the SMS. She explained in detail the various modules, the well-laid-out course structure, career options post-TEFL, method of teaching by their tutoring faculty, and practicum teaching component which would be covered under the course and the internship.


Their 120-hour online self-paced course’s vast and holistic curriculum intrigued me. I immediately enrolled in the course on August 18th, 2020 and so far, this has been one of the best decisions I made.


Undoubtedly, I learned some very unusual and innovative tricks from the course that would certainly help my students engage and enjoy the language learning classes. It has only been 2 months since I received the AAEFL accredited TEFL certification and the job offers are snowballing.


I have secured a fantastic job with Qkids and am fairly sure I would advance quite well in the field due to the skill I gained through the practical teaching classes. I have also received offers from some international schools and colleges.


The course curriculum is designed in such a way that each candidate becomes an expert in classroom management and develops techniques to make their teaching out-of-the-ordinary for their students. The highlight of the course for me was the guidance and sometimes even critical feedback of Mr. Hall which has worked miracles for me.


I would like to extend a special thanks to him for being so supportive and brilliant. The constant hard work of their placement support team was a cherry on top.
