Manik Narayan, 4.8/5 Henry Harvin Emergency Medical Technician Course Review
I was always keen on doing something in the technical field that had its roots in medicine or medicinal sciences. I did score well in Grade 12 but I wanted to hunt for a course that could land me a job well paid from the very beginning, had the potential to branch out in the future, and could be completed as soon as possible. One of my closest cousins told me to check out Henry Harvin Education and their emergency medical technician course. The course was elaborative, well known, and provided many opportunities to work. When I enrolled in the course all my expectations were thoroughly met.
The entire course is taught over a period of six months. The course is divided into two core modules, a foundation module that covers Anatomy and physiology, Medical terminology, Medical ethics, Medical emergencies, Basic computer skills, Infection control, and Biomedical waste management. Module two helps you with technical knowledge and it includes Patient communication, Patient assessment, Trauma care emergency, Medical care emergencies, and Intermediate computer skills. Two additional modules are also provided that cover topics like soft skill development and resume writing.
On successful completion of the course, you will be able to work as Emergency Room Technician in Hospitals and Nursing homes, Medical Assistant in Private Clinics, Academics Trainer – college and universities, medical writing, or a Health Information Technician. This was a huge surprise for me as I did not expect so many domains that offer jobs to emergency medical technicians.
