6. Upward Bound Math and Science Scholars

Upward Bound Math and Science is an interactive, year-round, exciting opportunity for Delaware and Maryland high school students interested in obtaining a degree in fields of mathematics and science. In the summer, students take six weeks of intensive classes in math, science, English, foreign language and technology, and attend study sessions with tutors. During the academic year, UBMS offers monthly workshops on careers, financial aid, study skills, and SAT preparation. Students also attend college tours and cultural trips.

7. Entrepreneurial Ventures Summer Program

Participants graduate from the camp with a launch plan, resources, and a network of like-minded peers. Students who participate in the program have the option to receive one college credit from the University of Delaware.

 Who: Students in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11.

 Cost: Full-residential program: $2,795. This includes all instruction, materials, room, and board. For an additional $295, students can opt to receive one college credit from the University of Delaware.
